For Better Or Worse

The union between God and Israel and the union between Christ and his church help us to determine the very basic of Christian marriage. The   model of God’s love in the church does not just require romantic emotions. Same as with loving one another in the family. It requires the will to see the living Christ among every member and to love them as we want to love Christ himself. To love them means to be willing be meet and see Jesus in them and accompany them wherever they go “…for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part.” This love doesn’t mean agreeing with or approving everyone’s idea. On the contrary, it calls us to confront those who do not want to reveal their sin. But whether we confront of confirm, criticise or praise, we can only become fruitful when our words and actions come from the heart who love Christ.  Photo Credits:  http://atruelovefairytale.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/image10.jpg

A Call to Holiness More Than Happiness"

Photo Credits: from unknown “The greatest challenge in the world:  A Call to Holiness More Than Happiness”   Thomas ,  G.,   Sacred Marriage Marriage is like an accident. It is like two people are in the same accident and severely wounded. They did not choose to be in the accident. It happened to them. But they both chose to live the experience in gratitude, love, faithfulness, humility and self-control. These are some of the fruits of holiness. This choice to be holy radically influenced the couple’s lives and the lives of their family and friends. We have a very little control over what happens and what will happen, but we have a lot of control over how we integrate and remember what happens. It is precisely these spiritual choices that determine whether we live our lives with holiness more than happiness.
